OPEN POSITION

Territory Sales Manager

Midwest & Northeast
Remote
MAST periodically looks for Territory Sales Managers who can develop strong markets, deepen existing relationships and create new opportunities across our growing footprint. These roles are designed for motivated sales professionals who enjoy being in the field, building relationships and seeing a direct connection between their effort and their results.

Role Overview

MAST representatives are in the market. Meeting customers. Visiting distributors. Learning products. Conducting training. Building relationships. Finding opportunities. Solving problems. And becoming trusted resources within the territories they serve.

Our Territory Sales Managers are given the opportunity to take ownership of a market, develop existing relationships and create new ones while representing products across the swimming pool, spa and outdoor living industries.

You’ll have expectations. You’ll have goals. And you’ll have room to make an impact.

What Success Looks Like

You’ll have expectations. You’ll have goals. And you’ll have room to make an impact.

We’re looking for people who want to become stronger salespeople, product specialists, strategic thinkers and, for those who want it, future leaders within the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Build and deepen relationships with existing accounts
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities
  • Represent multiple manufacturers and product lines
  • Visit distributors, dealers, builders and industry partners
  • Learn the technical aspects and customer benefits of the products you represent
  • Conduct product demonstrations and training
  • Analyze customer needs and buying patterns
  • Help customers identify opportunities within their businesses
  • Develop and manage your sales pipeline
  • Use MAST’s CRM and sales technology to manage activity and follow-up
  • Attend industry events and trade shows
  • Work with the broader MAST team to grow the brands we represent
  • Become a trusted resource within your territory

Qualifications

Familiarity with the pool and outdoor living industries is considered beneficial but is not required. Sales experience, relationship-building skills, a willingness to learn and the ability to independently manage a territory are important.

You don’t necessarily need to arrive as a pool and spa industry expert. But you do need the curiosity and drive to become one.

Skills

Self-Starters
You’re comfortable taking ownership of your time, territory and results.

Relationship Builders
You understand that great sales aren’t just transactions. They’re built through trust, consistency and showing up.

Curious Learners
Our representatives are expected to understand the products they represent and continuously learn as products, customers and markets evolve.

Competitive
You like goals. You like progress. And yes, you like winning.

Accountable
If you say you’re going to do something, you do it.

Solution-Minded
You don’t stop at identifying the problem. You look for the next move.

Coachable
You want feedback because you want to get better.

Team-Oriented
You can operate independently without operating alone.

Travel Expectations

Territory-based positions require regular travel within the assigned market. Most travel can be completed as day trips, with some overnight travel expected.
