The opening episode of The Mast Podcast introduces the show and the company behind it. Host Dalton Pence, territory manager for Kentucky, Southern Indiana and Southern Ohio, is joined by Mast owner Dan Bakotic.

Dan covers the Mast Sales Group story: a business running since 1987, with coverage across the Midwest, Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions.

The two also set out what the show is for. The aim is a platform where industry professionals, from pool builders to retailers and service companies, share the ideas and successes that have worked for them. It is deliberately not a product-promotion podcast, and episodes are kept to thirty minutes or less.
